Why it's different
Built for a gut that runs on meat.
Switch to an all-animal diet and your gut bacteria shift within a day: fibre fermenters fall away, bile-tolerant organisms move in.1 Most probiotics are designed for the other kind of gut.
3 matched strains
Each organism chosen for a fuel a carnivore diet supplies: mucus, fat or protein.
Zero fibre
No inulin, FOS, GOS, psyllium or other plant fibre. Nothing you've chosen not to eat.
Spore-protected
Bacillus subtilis travels as a dormant spore that survives stomach acid.
Taken with meat
One capsule with your first meal. Dietary fat helps buffer stomach acid.
Inside the capsule
Nothing in it a carnivore wouldn't eat.
- Beef gelatin shellAn animal-derived capsule instead of the usual plant cellulose.
- Three strains, three fuelsMucus, fat and protein: food sources still present when plants are gone.
- No prebiotic paddingMany probiotics add inulin so their strains have food. These don't need it.
The formula
Three strains. Three food sources.
CarniCore starts from what a meat-only gut supplies, then picks organisms suited to it.4
Akkermansia muciniphila
A specialist of the gut's mucus layer, the lining your own body renews. In long-term carnivores it holds its ground rather than disappearing.2
Supplied pasteurised: the form permitted in Australia, and the form used in a published human trial.3

Limosilactobacillus reuteri
Uses glycerol, released when you digest fat, and turns it into reuterin, an antimicrobial compound it makes to hold its territory. Low sugar suits it.
Formerly Lactobacillus reuteri. Strain to be confirmed.

Bacillus subtilis
Makes enzymes that break down protein. It travels as a spore: a dormant, armoured form that survives stomach acid and switches on further down.
Spore-formers are stable at room temperature. Strain to be confirmed.

The routine
One capsule. First meal.
One capsule
Once a day. No complicated protocol, no cycling.
With your first meal
Take it with food, not on an empty stomach. Dietary fat helps buffer stomach acid.
Every day
Gut bacteria respond to what you feed them, day after day. Consistency matters more than dose.
The evidence, plainly
What the research shows, and what it doesn't.
Carnivore microbiome research is young. Here is what the formula is built on.
Five days on an all-animal diet shifted gut bacteria within a day: bile-tolerant organisms up, fibre fermenters down.
PubMedTen long-term carnivores against matched omnivores: diversity not reduced, Akkermansia not significantly different.

Questions
Before you reserve
Do I need a probiotic on a carnivore diet?
Maybe not. Many people do well on the diet alone. CarniCore is for people who want to support their gut bacteria without adding the fibre that most probiotics rely on.
Why no fibre or inulin?
Inulin is a plant fibre added to many probiotics as food for the bacteria. If you've removed plants from your diet, a capsule full of chicory root defeats the point. Our strains were picked because they don't depend on it.
Why is the Akkermansia pasteurised?
In Australia, Akkermansia muciniphila is only permitted in supplements in pasteurised form. That is also the form tested in the published human trial.
When will it ship, and what will it cost?
Not yet set. The final price and ship date depend on manufacturing and regulatory listing. You'll hear from us by email before anything is charged.
Is it suitable for me?
If you are pregnant, immunocompromised, seriously unwell or taking medication, talk to your doctor before taking any probiotic.
